Gardens give us hope and fill our hearts with an appreciation of life.  They are conduits of positive change in a world that can sometimes seem depleted and hopeless.

Our aim is to create peaceful spaces of enduring, evolving beauty that can give back to the ecosystem.  This starts with a solid design and a strong sense of place.

We look forward to the opportunity to meet you and your garden.  Let’s make something Beautiful!

JOHN MOVIUS  - owner

You are only the medium in which the patterns come to life, and of their own accord give birth to something new. Christopher Alexander, The Timeless Way of Building

John is passionate about outdoor spaces, art, and the magic of plants. It is a joy to share this passion with his clients and their gardens. He loves working together to explore the balance between wild and contained in a landscape, guided by the unique needs of each client. He believes that small shifts in how we live and structure our homes, what we plant in our yards, can have profound impacts:  a ripple effect from one garden to the next, outwards and upwards.  When he is not working on Terraccord projects, John can be found working in his own garden and art studio; volunteering with local conservation efforts; or out of cell range somewhere in the wilds of Oregon.

Toby is grateful that his childhood hobby of gardening has transformed into a professional passion.  He loves realizing landscape construction projects from start to finish, and the close relationship with nature that is fostered through garden maintenance. Toby is currently a student at Lewis and Clark College. When not studying or working in a garden, he finds time for road trips, playing sports, and going out for breakfast.
